Gila River Casino

Group West, after a national design-build competition, was selected as the designer for this new casino for the Gila River Indian Community. The Casino's gaming floor is uniquely configured around an interior open-air courtyard which provides outdoor dining for it's multiple restaurants and serves as a venue for entertainment.

Three casino entrances, each equally spaced around the gaming floor and equally accessible to surrounding parking are defined by tensile structure canopies that provide shade and shadow during the day and are accented at night by colorful lighting.
